My Philosophy

“A holistic nutritionist is a health professional who assesses health and vitality in the natural context of a client’s whole life experience, including their physical, emotional, social and environmental circumstances, and who uses nutritional choices, supplements, education and lifestyle modifications in a non-invasive way to empower clients towards self-healing, increased health and maximized vitality.”

Because of these individual differences, there is no “one size fits all” program or diet. Everyone has different needs, and it’s my goal to work with you in finding an approach that is just as unique as you.

We all have a different story when it comes to our health, and there are many factors that can contribute to low energy levels and poor mental clarity:

Nutrient deficiencies or poor diet,
Poor digestive health,
Build-up of toxins from food, environmental chemicals, or household products,
Food allergies or sensitivities,
Poor sleep habits,
Hormonal imbalance (e.g. blood sugar imbalance, adrenal fatigue or low thyroid), and
Chronic illness or disease (e.g. diabetes or heart disease)

When we work together, my philosophy is to listen and understand your specific needs to come up with an customized program based on your unique story. One-on-one coaching includes:

A comprehensive health history and use of scientifically-based tools to help get to the root cause of your concerns;
Education on the importance of food and other lifestyle factors in creating balanced energy levels to last throughout your day and to promote a restful sleep;
Determining the right foods your body needs to function at its optimum level;
Helping you to discover that meal planning for your specific needs can be fun, delicious and easy;
A personalized supplement regimen, as necessary, to help you feel results faster; and,
Guided support via email and telephone as needed.

Whether our time together is short-lived or longer-term, my plans are designed to help you see results, including:

Boosted energy levels,
Improved stamina to participate in the activities you enjoy;
Fewer mid-afternoon slumps,
More restorative sleep, and
Improved mental clarity.
